A full quarter of its land is set aside as National Park and environmentally protected areas.A small geographic area coupled with a diverse concentration of flora and fauna make Costa Rica a rare ecological wonderland. Among the highlights are beautiful beaches, tropical rain forests, active volcanoes, exotic rivers, and a plethora of adventure activities.

Dubbed the Switzerland of Central America, Costa Rica has been shaped by a long history of social and political stability, high literary rates, top rate medical care, and efficient infrastructure and services.
